Access & contact
In winter, access to the Refuge de Solaise is exclusively via the Solaise gondola, which leaves from the snow front and arrives 200 m upstream of the hotel.
To find your way around when you arrive in the center of the resort, there are 2 major gondolas that leave from the snow front. These are the black cabins that go up to the left dome.
You arrive by car,
by shuttle or bus
YOU ARRIVE BY CAR
Go to the Meeting Point Le Refuge de Solaise sign at the end of Rue Parc des Sports, at the very bottom of the slope, where the porter will meet you.
They will look after your luggage and take it straight to your room, as well as giving you the ski passes you need to board the cable car and get up to Le Refuge de Solaise. Once you reach the top, you’ll need to walk down 200 metres in the snow to get to the hotel.
YOU ARRIVE BY SHUTTLE OR BUS
If you arrive in Val d'Isère by shuttle or bus, a luggage handler will meet you at the top of Rue Parc des Sports, at the entrance to the Front de Neige, where the hotel has a sign "Point de rencontre Le Refuge".
The luggage handler will take your large luggage to the gondola where you will have to pick it up to go up to the arrival station. He will give you your ski-passes needed to board the gondolas.
