In winter, access to the Refuge de Solaise is exclusively via the Solaise gondola, which leaves from the snow front and arrives 200 m upstream of the hotel.
To find your way around when arriving at the center of the resort, only one gondola is accessible: the black cabins, located on the snow front.

GONDOLA SCHEDULES
The gondola lifts are open 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They are also open on Fridays and Saturdays (except during school holidays) from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. until April 20.

IMPORTANT
Outside these times, you will not be able to access the Refuge de Solaise. Please take this into account for your arrival time.

YOU ARRIVE BY CAR
Go to the Meeting Point Le refuge de Solaise sign at the end of Rue Parc des Sports, at the entrance to the Front de Neige, where the baggage handler will welcome you. He will take charge of your luggage, which will be returned directly to your room, and will give you your pedestrian passes for boarding the gondolas to the Refuge de Solaise. Once at the top, you'll need to walk 200m downhill in the snow to reach the hotel.

YOU ARRIVE BY SHUTTLE OR BUS
If you are arriving in Val d'Isère by Shuttle or Bus, a baggage handler will meet you at the top of Rue Parc des Sports, at the entrance to the Front de Neige, where the hotel has a sign "Point de rencontre Le Refuge".
The baggage handler will take your large items of luggage to the gondola, where they will be collected and taken up to the arrival station. He will give you your ski-pass to board the gondolas.
