In summer, Le Refuge de Solaise is accessible by road by taking the Col de l’Iseran from Val d’Isère or Bonneval-sur-Arc. If you’re arriving by train or plane, transfers can be organised to take you to the hotel by car.

By car
Le Refuge de Solaise is accessible by road by taking the Col de l’Iseran from Val d’Isère or Bonneval-sur-Arc. There is parking available on site.
By train
The nearest station is in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, which is served by several train lines, including high-speed trains (TGV, Eurostar, Thalys).
By plane
The nearest airports are Geneva, Lyon, Chambery and Grenoble.
Solaise cable car
To find your way when you arrive in the center of the resort, there are 2 gondolas that leave from the snow front. The ones that lead to the Refuge are the black cabins that go up to the left dome.
GONDOLA SCHEDULES
From July 29 to September1, 2024, the Solaise gondola is open from 9:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., making it easy to reach the Val d'Isère resort on foot from the Refuge de Solaise.
IMPORTANT
Outside these times, you can only access the Refuge de Solaise by car via the Iseran pass.
